Come outside to draw and paint with us! Art Club members and friends are invited to our first Plein Air session of the summer!
Meet at the Hub at 7 pm. Bring your own chair, easel, materials and supplies if you have them. Arrive at 6:30 if you need to borrow an easel or access supplies. We will carpool to Sagitawa Lookout and enjoy the long daylight to paint and draw the views.
There is no charge to participate and no experience is necessary. We may have an artist mentor along to guide our process.
You may pre-register, or just find your way up to the top of Judah Hill to join us.
Bring your own snacks!
Art Hub Artists will help you create pictures from pebbles collected near the river. If you have small flat stones, bring them with you to use in your picture.
This activity is intended for parents and children to enjoy together. Please plan to stay with children under 6.

For Adults
Learn wedging and wheel throwing basics. The goal of the beginner series is that the novice potter will centre clay successfully and pull a straight-walled cylinder. All instruction is focused on these skills.
The first 4 classes are for throwing and trimming. The 5th class is for glazing the fired pieces. The registration fee includes equipment and tool use, clay, firings and glazes for 3 finished pieces. Additional clay may be purchased at the class. Additional projects will be subject to additional cost.
This is a 5 session class, with 15 hours of instruction and work time, (a great deal)! You will achieve a firm foundation for your wheel throwing journey ahead.
PRAC members may apply their $10 PRAC member discount at registration.
