I started by hiring a personal trainer, doing aqua-aerobics, working up to swimming 40 lengths and working out three times a week. I changed my diet and generally began looking after myself. My ultimate goal was to learn to paddle board. I figured if I could paddle board, I would have reached that goal. Two summers ago, my son and his family gave me a paddle board for my birthday. I now paddle board at the lake regularly and love it! Some day I am going to paddle board on the ocean.

I recently took an online course where I learned to incorporate kozo paper with wool fibres to create paperfelt. Not only does this give new ways to add texture, but it allows the use of materials made for use on paper surfaces. It opens up a whole new array of possibilities!
