How You Can Help

From the quiet atmosphere of the gallery to the high energy of our annual gala, there’s a role for every personality and skill set.

• Volunteer with our Events Committee: These are the people who are planning events taking place at the ART HUB and involving our Peace River Art Club members.

• Volunteer with our Programs Committee: These are the people who are shaping the future of our programs and working to promote the ones that are already taking place.

• Volunteer with our Gala Committee: Our annual gala event is our signature event, and our largest annual fundraiser. Volunteer with the Gala Committee to help plan, decorate, or fill a need during the event.

• Volunteer with Youth Programming: We offer both after school art programming and Saturday family programming at the ART HUB. Inspiring, mentoring, and nurturing the next generation of artists is part of the Peace River Art Club’s mission. Do you have a skills you can share with our youth?

• Assist with Gallery Preparations: Art is constantly coming in and going out of the ART HUB. We could always use another few hands when we are hanging new exhibitions, or taking existing displays down and preparing the space and the walls for new art.

• Seasonal events: The Peace River Art Club finds pride in being an active member of the Peace River community. As such, you can often find us participating in or hosting a variety of seasonal events. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is also passionate about the community and would like to help with one or more of these activities. These opportunities include the ART HUB’s involvement in the annual River Days celebration, our annual Christmas Market, Volunteer Appreciation Week celebrations, and Culture Days celebrations, among others.
