We Are Hiring: Contract Bookkeeper
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team to maintain accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, financial entries and reconciliations.
Skills and Qualifications
The Bookkeeper is to enter the organization’s financial information into general ledger using software specific to the accounting and financial business, keeping business aligned with provincial and federal tax laws.
Five years’ experience working as a Bookkeeper and/or Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB)
Experience working for a non-profit organizations with a volunteer Board of Directors
Strong financial literacy and natural organization skills
Detail orientated
Skills or knowledge of the Sage Business Accounting software
Good interpersonal skills and effective communications with the Board and Staff.
Experience tracking and recording commissions
