Peace River Art Club Secures $8,230 in Grants to Boost Community Arts and Business Operations

Peace River - The Peace River Art Club (PRAC) is delighted to announce it has received a total of $8,230 in grant funding from the Northwestern Alberta Foundation. This crucial funding will support the continued operation of the Arts Business Coordinator position at the ART HUB.
The grants include $4,805 from the Bryden Sparks Arts Family Fund and $3,425 from the Beattie Family Fund.
Enhancing Arts & Culture in the Region
This significant support will enable PRAC to continue its mission to enrich operations by building a robust community of artists and inspiring greater public participation in fine arts and cultural programming. The Arts Business Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the ART HUB’s business operations, which includes fostering successful collaboration with local businesses and community groups through strategic communications, promotions, and marketing efforts.
The funding proposal was successfully submitted to the Northwestern Alberta Foundation by the Peace River Art Club's dedicated Funding Team: Audrey DeWitt, MaryAnne O’Byrne, and Dana Laliberte.
"Securing this funding is a huge success for the Art Club," said Dana Laliberte, PRAC Vice President and Funding Team member. "It validates the hard work of our team and ensures we can continue growing the ART HUB."

"This funding ensures the ART HUB can continue to grow as a vibrant cultural and business center for the Peace River region."
