For Ages 16 to Adult
Learn wedging and wheel throwing basics. The goal of the beginner series is that the novice potter will centre clay successfully and pull a straight-walled cylinder. All instruction is focused on these skills.
The first 5 classes are for throwing and trimming. The 6th class is for glazing the fired pieces. The registration fee includes equipment and tool use, clay, firings and glazes for 3 finished pieces. Additional clay may be purchased at the class. Additional projects will be subject to additional cost.
This is a 6 session class, with 18 hours of instruction and work time, (a great deal)! You will achieve a firm foundation for your wheel throwing journey ahead.
