Experience the heart of northern hospitality at the Alberta Pond Hockey Gala on Saturday, March 7, the signature social event of the legendary Alberta Pond Hockey Championships. Held annually on the natural ice of Lac Cardinal, the championships bring together players from across the country for hockey in its purest form. When the sun goes down and the skates come off, the celebration moves to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex for an unforgettable evening of live music, local catering, and community spirit.
The highlight of the evening (for us!) is the Silent Auction. This year, the Alberta Pond Hockey Association has selected the Peace River Art Club to run the silent auction. This will be a vital fundraiser dedicated to supporting the Peace River ART HUB. As a cornerstone of the region’s cultural scene, the ART HUB provides essential gallery space, workshops, and programming for local artists of all ages.
Every winning bid goes directly toward the continued operation of the ART HUB, ensuring that creativity continues to thrive in the Peace Country.
