Peace River Art Club Awarded Operating Grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts

PEACE RIVER, AB – The Peace River Art Club is pleased to announce it has been awarded an operating grant of $16,900.00 from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA). This funding, provided through the AFA - Volunteer Based Arts Organizations program, will support the club’s 2025-26 operations.

"We are incredibly grateful to the Alberta Foundation for the Arts for their continued investment in local, volunteer-led arts initiatives," said Peace River Art Club President Dianne Ireland. "This grant allows our club to maintain its momentum and continue providing a vibrant creative space for the Peace River community."

The AFA’s support is vital for volunteer-based organizations, ensuring that the arts remain accessible and sustainable across the province. The Peace River Art Club remains committed to furthering the arts in Alberta and looks forward to utilizing these funds to enhance its ongoing activities and community engagement.
