Learn wedging and wheel throwing basics in this 4-session series. The goal of the beginner series is that the novice potter will centre clay successfully and pull a straight-walled cylinder. All instruction is focused on these skills.

A 5th class will be scheduled for glazing the fired pieces. The fee includes 5 sessions, one bag of clay, and firings and glazes for 3 finished pieces. Additional clay may be purchased at the class.

This is a 5 session class, with 15 hours of instruction and work time, (a great deal)! You will achieve a firm foundation for your wheel throwing journey ahead.
